A couple weeks ago PUR Wheels reached out to the internet with photos of their Rose Gold Concept wheel. We thought that all we were going to see was a radical design, but thankfully they did not waste any time in proving that these were not just built for an off-car photoshoot.
Inspired by a watch they had seen, the team at PUR went with a five double-spoke design, utilizing subtle angles and edges to show off the way the rose gold finish can be manipulated under different lighting conditions. Only one question remained and that was what they were going to put these on.
They reached out to the internet and the response indicated a clear winner in the form of the Lamborghini Murcielago. The result is nothing short of fantastic.
Well done, Internet. This all black LP640 example certainly fit the bill. The wheel design, called 6IX, works perfectly with the bold and aggressive stance of the Murci. We could not be more impressed by the perfect combination of colors, contrasts, and shapes.
PUR has not officially released any info regarding the construction of the wheels, nor have they admitted that these will be for sale at some point. We certainly hope they do reach the market, because regardless of price point this is nothing short of certified baller.
