He changed the business model to retail catering to growing Chinese-American market in southern California as well as the local clientele in the San Gabriel Valley. He has turned the Hing Wa Lee Group into one of the largest independent luxury watch retailers in the United States and the number one Rolex independent retailer in the US since 1995. The group also develops commercial properties in both California and Hong Kong. Among being an exotic and vintage car enthusiast, Lee is an avid Ferrari collector.
