Imagine, for a moment, that we live in a world of Limitless potential and Limitless opportunities.
In this world that you live in, whatever anybody else can accomplish, so can you.
- Mark Zuckerberg
- Elon Musk
- Bill Gates
For a moment, imagine that you’re already the person who is capable of doing anything you set out to accomplish and nothing is holding you back.
Close your eyes, and:
- See what you would see, if you are already this person.
- Hear what you would hear, if you are already this person.
- Feel what you would feel, as if you’re already this person.
When I coach entrepreneurs to overcome any mental and emotional obstacles standing in their way, that is how I start the process.
The second question I ask them is this: Can you 100% feel as if you are already that person who has the things you want to have, or is anything getting in the way?
Whatever “excuse” gets in the way, is a limiting belief.
What is a belief?
Whatever you believe to be true, is true (for you). When you learn how to remove limiting beliefs and install positive beliefs, you begin to act congruent with who you think you are.
A belief is a thought in the mind, backed by some type of emotional attachment. That’s it. They are not set in stone, and when you turn to neuroscience and psychology to reprogram limiting beliefs and turn them into positive ones, you can quickly release any mental blocks that stand between you and your goals.
It’s simply that emotional attachment that makes the thought/belief feel real. But after my years of being an NLP Practitioner and executive coach, I learned that beliefs are not set in stone.
In your life, you have a belief about yourself. Perhaps you don’t believe you can attract someone attractive in your life. Perhaps you don’t believe you can build an online business.
Up until now, you think that the belief is real because all your life experiences reinforce that belief. In our brain is something called the Reticular Activating System (RAS). Out of the 2,000,000 bits of information that bombard our senses at every given moment, we only consciously take in 150 of those bits (0.000075%).
But what if, instead, it is only your perception that notices the things in your life to reinforce the belief, while there is so much more out there to notice.
According to this principle, the belief (the 150 bits you focus on) is the cause, and not the effect, of what you perceive to be true in life in life. When you change the belief, you change your perception.
- When you perceive that you can’t do something, you probably won’t even try.
- When you perceive that you can…you’ll finally take the actions that will lead you to success.
When you did the exercise before, what thoughts/emotions got in the way of feeling as if you’re already that person who has the things you want to have in business and life?
Below, I recorded a video as part of a course to teach others how to release negative emotions.

Whatever limiting belief (thought/emotion) that comes to mind, your job now is to drain the emotions that make it seem/feel real.
The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a proven scientific way to release negative emotions from your body.
It’s the negative emotion that makes the limiting belief appear to be real.
When you release the emotional attachment to the negative belief, it loses it’s hold on you.
When you replace this with an empowering belief, your perception will begin to notice examples in your life that reinforce this new positive belief that you are the person that can do the things you want to do in life.
Beliefs are not set in stone. What beliefs have been holding you back in the past?
Use the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) to release the beliefs today.
